Hatha Yoga Classes for experienced students

Join Renata MahaJyoti for these special classes. We'll flow with many variations on Surya Namaskar, working the whole body through a balanced practice. We will challenge your focus and attention within, making sure you are always guided by your breath. Start your weekend off right! These classes are for experienced students. If you want beginner classes, please make sure to look into Renata's hatha classes on this site. - Class # 1 Hatha flow... we will flow through Sun Salutations with variations. Class will also cover seated and lying down positions, will focus on developing our awareness of forward and backward bendings, and also work on twists and lateral bending. This is a complete Hatha Class following the Sonia Sumar Method, so we will also have chanting, eye exercises, deep relaxation and breathing. - Class # 2 - How about those hips... In this class we will work on poses that will help us feel the connection between our hips and pelvic floor. We will also work on poses that require hip open position with options for different flexibilities, so we can safely develop the awareness on how to join strength and flexibility in these yoga poses. It will be a balanced yoga routine, although with the focus on hips and pelvic floor. This is a complete Hatha Class following the Sonia Sumar Method, so we will also have chanting, eye exercises, deep relaxation and breathing. - Class #3 - All about inversions... In this class, we will do a more simplified introductory routine, to make sure we work our spine in all directions, as well our body in all positions, but we will spend a little more time exploring inversions and variations. This is a complete Hatha Class following the Sonia Sumar Method, so we will also have chanting, eye exercises, deep relaxation and breathing. Class #4 - Revisiting our hips - building up strength and developing flexibility. This is a complete Hatha Class following the Sonia Sumar Method, so we will also have chanting, eye exercises, deep relaxation and breathing. Class #5 - Putting all together. Going deeper. This is a complete Hatha Class following the Sonia Sumar Method, so we will also have chanting, eye exercises, deep relaxation and breathing.
